The company

Anavo Group is currently partnering with a successful Asset Management company specialising in the Renewable Energy sector. With previous performance history of providing asset management services to both public and private investment portfolios within the solar industry they have set to shape Australia’s sustainable energy future.

The role

The company is looking for an Asset Manager to support the development of its renewable energy asset management services provision in the Australian solar market. The Asset Manager will provide site inspection, technical asset management, performance monitoring, contract management and client reporting services to wind and solar projects.

Responsibilities includes:

  • Supervision and management of all relevant contracts (Asset Management / O&M, etc.), funding agreements, interconnection agreements.
  • Ensuring on-going compliance with all law, legislative requirements, federal and state legislation in relation to the operation of the solar farms.
  • Managing and maintaining good relationships with authorities, NSP’s, AEMO the community and the owners.
  • Carry out project performance data monitoring, analysis and diagnostics.
  • Deploy Client capabilities in engineering and asset management through working closely with the wider team.
  • Work systematically keeping records, data management and document management for efficient processing of project requests
  • Support the ongoing development of process, procedures and systems for renewable asset management services provision.

Skills and requirements

  • A degree or relevant qualification in Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience of working in a similar role in the wind or solar photovoltaic sector
  • Strong understanding of wind and solar assets including remote and on-site performance monitoring, interpretation of monitoring data and safety and fault assessment.
  • Solid knowledge of EPC and O&M contracts
  • Confidence in dealing with contractor counterparts, including representing clients in challenging negotiations and/or disputes.
  • Experience in preparing detailed project reporting (technical and financial)
  • Familiarity with computerised SCADA/Monitoring systems.
