About the Company

Our client, a vibrant and fast-growing renewable energy services provider, is now looking for a Market Operations Manager. With a strong presence in Europe and backed up by an Asian multinational group, they are now expanding their services & solutions to Australia.

The Role

With a strong presence in Electricity retail across commercial and industrial market segments, the position is accountable for Customer Onboarding, Billing, Credit/Debit Management, Market Interactions and Settlements.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Market Operations Manager interacts with all verticals – Sales, Customers, Project teams, IT – but also the vendors (Outsourced Billing, Back-office)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Team performance by measuring and putting in place sets of KPIs to deliver best practice Customer Experience
• Successfully manage new customers onboarding and journey throughout market interactions
• Liaise and Project Manage accurate invoicing in collaboration with external vendors
• Manage large volume of customers credit/debit collections
• Reconcile payments and accounts allocations
• Monitor and Supervise resolution of all queries to solve issues in a timely manner
• Ensuring compliance with industry legal and regulatory obligations

Key skills

• 8+ years’ experience in Operations role or other relevant position
• Background in Energy or Telecommunications Retail essential
• Proven Team Management experience
• Demonstrated experience in Stakeholder Management, Vendor Management
• Soft skills: a self-starter, problem-solver commercially astute individual with strong negotiation and team leading skills
