The role can be based in any city within Spain with the preference to Madrid.

What do we require:

• Good knowledge of the Spanish renewable energy market (PV and/or Wind)
• Previous experience in Land securing, permitting and connection processes
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in renewable energy project development (greenfield)
• Proven track record of effective communications with project stakeholders, including energy customers, landowners, government officials, utility representatives, and community members
• Experience in opportunity identification; demonstrated success in prospecting, identifying, and qualifying new business opportunities.
• Basic legal knowledge, including NDA land option agreements, etc.
• Experience in initiating, negotiating, and closing contracts.
• Engineering degree and/or PV knowledge
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to roll up his or her sleeves and act with a problem-solving mindset.
• High Ability to work within a network to get in touch with customers and support the internal colleagues.
• Able to build relationships quickly.
• High willingness to travel.
• Good command of Spanish and English.

Your Role:

• Work towards solar project opportunities identification and assessments, regulatory feasibility and approvals, network access, etc…
• Manage the development solar projects, with a focus on land securing, permitting and connection activities.
• Oversee relationships with project stakeholders, transmission service operators, local councils and suppliers.
• Coordinate with internal Technical, Financial, and Legal teams and other stakeholders to implement and accelerate all project related work leading to decision on investment as per internal procedures.
• Compliance with local laws and Workplace Safety as well as with internal policies
