Our client is a one of the most reputable global specialists for Photovoltaic System Technology. Due to the growth of the renewable energy industry and increased requirement for solar systems technology, they are expanding even further in the Australian market.


The Opportunity

Reporting to the Project Sales Director, The National Key Account Manager is responsible to manage critical client relationships and facilitate the sales process for Utility-scale projects in Australia. 

This includes preparing quotations, commercial review, tender preparation and contract negotiation for large-scale projects, including off-grid and hybrid systems from 2MW up to >500MW, concentrating on mining and resources companies. This process will include extensive coordination with various internal stakeholders across multiple countries. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Secure and maintain relationships with key decision makers in the utility scale renewable energy sector.
  • Work closely with and manage project management teams 
  • Close management of customer relationships with various key players in the Australian renewable energy market.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (globally) to ensure the smooth flow of the sales process and manage the sales process through Salesforce.
  • Understand customers’ needs and requirements for projects, review customer specifications and tenders and work with the team to provide appropriate responses.
  • Develop and maintain excellent knowledge of the product range and its applications.

Selection Criteria

The successful candidate will be a presentable and personable individual, with an ability to confidently present to senior industry players, have experience working in a cross-cultural environment across multiple offices and the ability to work between various time zone. You will have:


  • Ability to understand technical aspects of products
  • Ability to pitch products and services via presentations and meetings
  • General technical understanding related to renewable or conventional energy
  • Understanding of legal and commercial terms
  • Experience in commercial contract negotiation in a project context
  • Experience of the sales process related to projects or systems
  • Ability to demonstrate deep understanding product and services offering
  • Experience selling to EPC’s
