The Company

Our client is a fast growing and award-winning team specializing in Energy Storage System and Integration Solutions in the Residential & Commercial sectors. They provide advanced turn-key lithium battery storage systems, controlled by EMS and their cloud base system with cutting edge algorithm to improve product lifetime and efficiency. 

Role and Responsibilities

This is a fully-remote, standalone position, however the successful candidate would be required to be based in Melbourne, as travel (60% of the time on the field) will be needed to conduct on-site support.

• Improve customer satisfaction by helping homeowners & installers to solve technical issues
• Conduct repair & support installers on-site support with the company's Storage products & Energy Management System.
• Support installers during commissioning (via email or phone).
• Document received cases and follow up promptly.
• Travel required, intertwined with excellent self-organization, and planning.
• The technician will drive the company van (equipped with tools, benches & testing equipment) to customer homes and conduct repairs for the company's Battery & Energy Management systems.

The Selection Criteria

The successful candidate will have a passion for Renewables and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. You will be process-focused, highly organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, with the ability to take ownership and responsibility.

• Minimum 1-year Electrical/ Maintenance associated degree plus 1-year Electrical Power Systems/ Installations work experience.
• Experience working remotely with strong self-management and interpersonal skills and a proven record of establishing and maintaining working relationships with customers, peers, and managers.
• Strong knowledge of local electrical and system regulatory codes.
• Understand Electrical Systems (ideally Electrical/PV ).
• Familiarity with MS Office (Salesforce is advantageous).
• Valid driving license
• Electrician with relevant local electrical qualifications/licenses preferred.
• Fluency in English is essential.
