With branches established in Netherlands, Australia & India and R&D labs, purchasing operations and manufacturing facilities overseas, their annual production capacity exceeds 3GW.

They brings solar energy to global users, offering a full range of 1kW to 80kW photovoltaic grid-connected inverter products, energy storage & energy management system. The continuous improvement of after-sales service systems ensures quality and value to customers around the world. 

 

Opportunity & Responsibilities

Preferably living in or near Sydney, the Service Engineer will be responsible for after-sales servicing support of our client's Solar Inverter products. You will provide technical support and assistance by phone & email to installers & customers in Australia & New Zealand. 

 

  • Liaise & actively collaborate with the International Technical Support team, the Service, Sales & Repair Centre departments to ensure cases are lodged in CRM systems & processed effectively.
  • Accurately create reports & document all support cases, including customer & internal communication.
  • Assist in commissioning of residential/ commercial Solar Systems 
  • Efficiently coordinate the logistics of inverters’ replacement dispatch & faulty collection.
  • Travel to installers or end user customers to provide service support or emergency repair service (fix, replace, install inverters & communication equipment, upgrade APP, etc.)
  • Run training sessions with customers & manage the service partners, including developing new, instructing work flow, providing service files & training both onsite & remote.

 

Selection Criteria

A proactive team player, tech-savvy and fluent English speaker with strong interpersonal & negotiation skills, you will be a go-getter with hands-on approach and strong can-do attitude. 

The successful candidate will possess excellent written & verbal communication skills that will allow quick troubleshooting over the phone by efficiently finding the root of the issue and diffusing high-pressure scenarios such as frustrated customers.

 

  • Minimum 2 years Solar Inverter experience in a Field Service/ Support capacity (C&I background is an advantage).
  • Ability to handle high volume of phone calls & emails, to prioritize & solve problems effectively. 
  • Solid technical understanding of Solar PV systems, network technologies & electronics/ electrical installations.
  • Ability to read & interpret schematics with a good understanding of HV & measurement equipment.
  • Strongly networked within the Solar PV industry, especially residential & commercial space.
  • Valid Driver’s license. Willingness to travel weekly locally; national & international travel when required.
