The Opportunity

With strong experience in B2B sales and a results-driven personality, you will play an instrumental role in managing and expending key client relationships nationally including Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Solar PV. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills to drive growth and revenue. You will be willing to carry out frequent travel across Australia and be passionate and committed to making a difference in the renewables sector.

 

The Responsibilities

  • Seeking out new opportunities for developing commercial and industrial PV project opportunities (up to 2-5MW) both independently and as part of a small BD/Sales team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical, marketing, and operations to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Conducting sales meetings with prospective Clients
  • Building and sustaining productive relationships with potential project partners like project developers, installers, government and regulatory bodies and other relevant market participants
  • Developing sales leads and maintaining a database of potential and existing clients
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to make informed business decisions.

 

Selection Criteria 

  • Proven track record in Sales and Account Management in Solar PV.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ideally 2-3 years' experience in a similar role. 
  • Engineering background and solid technical understanding of Solar PV systems.
