The Opportunity

An excellent chance to join a top solar solutions supplier, whose ambition is to become the number one supplier in the Australian market across all segments, from residential, commercial to utility-scale. Entirely office-based position in Sydney. As part of this role you will be working in the Sales department of a leading renewable company. Role & Responsibilities

 

  • Build strong commercial relationships with external stakeholders, implement a strategic account approach to develop partnerships and manage the existing relationships. 
  • Initiate talks with customers and partners, generating and picking up leads for new project opportunities.
  • Liaise with internal and external teams on solutions, negotiate with key stakeholders on commercial terms and finalize business deals.
  • Conduct product training, seminars, presentation to customers and/or other stakeholders if required.
  • Carry on studies on market trends, customer requirements, competition status and present to management with analysis and reports if required.

 

Selection Criteria

An an experienced Business Development and Key Account Manager, the successful candidate will have demonstrated technical expertise and a holistic understanding of the utility-scale solar project pipeline. Mandarin communication skills will be a bonus.

 

  • 3 years in a Business Development or Account Management role in Australia. A proven record of growing a portfolio of new clients; with success in closing new business.
  • Previous experiences in utility scale renewable energy, PV/BESS industrial segments is essential.
  • Ability to acquire new business and consult on required solutions.
  • Attributes in influencing key stakeholders. Comfortable working in multi-cultural environments.
  • Business acumen together with the ability to learn and understand technical & product aspects of Solar/BESS solutions
