Opportunity

The chance to join a global inverter manufacturer and solar solutions supplier, whose ambition is to become the number one supplier in the Australian market across all segments, from residential, commercial to utility-scale. The role provides excellent opportunities for career progression, while growing together with the local team. Entirely office-based position in Sydney. 

Role Responsibilities

• Pre-sales technical support of PV Inverter, BESS PCS & BESS products.
• Participate in technical marketing activities and present the company's technologies and solutions to the market.
• Provide bidding support on large-scale PV, BESS & hybrid projects – this includes technical solution proposals based on available products, technical document packages, bidding documents, etc.
• Prepare & review technical related documents, while supporting the commercial team on relevant document review.
• Regularly follow up on local applicable standards. Proactively stay up to date with all the latest technologies concerning the company's products and the underlying technologies.
• Assist in market analyses, including customer’s requirements & feedback, market trends, etc. Provide timely and excellent customer support, while maintaining strong relationships with clients’ technical teams.

Selection Criteria

The successful candidate will be flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated and have the ability to engage with and influence a variety of stakeholders in a way that generates business benefits, whilst maintaining key relationships. Verbal and written Chinese communications skills will be highly regarded.

• Electrical Engineer with demonstrated experience working and liaising with inverter manufacturer, large-scale project developer & EPC.
• Good understanding of PV, BESS systems & renewable energy system designs.
• Minimum 3-5 years renewable energy industry experience. 
• Ideally holding a master in Electrical/ Electronics/ Power System/ Automation or related Engineering 
• Solid knowledge of electrical principles and proficient in CAD, Microsoft Office.
