Job Title: Restaurant Manager

Location: Barcelona, Spain.

Fluency in Spanish & English is mandatory.

Experience as Restaurant Manager or Store Manager in the Bakery/Restaurant environment is essential. Retail experience as store manager is a plus.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

A french brand of stores, restaurants, bakery & tearooms is opening new restaurants in Spain! They are looking for their new Restaurant Manager based in Barcelona!

ABOUT THE ROLE

The restaurant manager is responsible for managing and organizing daily restaurant operations with the goal of controlling costs and providing a high-quality experience to customers. Owning the operational relationships with functional teams to ensure alignment and delivery of the business plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service and maintain a premium positioning.
• Team Leadership: Lead a team including a head chef, floor manager, barista, and 20 employees in total.
• Operational Management: Coordinate shifts, schedules, daily meetings, task transfers, and routine follow-ups.
• Performance Management: Work towards objectives, conduct weekly and monthly mystery shopper evaluations, and analyze KPIs.
• Communication & Leadership: Maintain effective communication and leadership within the team, including 1-on-1 feedback sessions.
• Conflict Resolution & Coaching: Manage team conflicts, provide coaching, and conduct training sessions.
• Reporting: Report to the Operations Manager.

The restaurant manager manages +20 staff and supervisory personnel.

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU! REQUIREMENTS:

• Speak FLUENT English and Spanish
• Vast experience managing the operations of a restaurant, or Café&Bakery store in Spain.
• Have extensive experience leading a team of +10 restaurant staff.
• Have experience being responsible of the Food Quality and Safety.
• Previous experience in charge of sales target and shift management of a restaurant/store in Spain.

START DATE: March or April 2025

BENEFITS

Annual salary of 35,000 gross + incentives based on revenues + benefits
