Andreea is a Recruitment Consultant at Anávo, with extensive experience in customer-facing environments and recruitment. Originally from Romania, she studied psychology in the UK and worked in Birmingham and London for almost 7 years, including a year of freelance interpreting. She then transitioned to recruitment in the Technical Aerospace & Aviation industry in London, working with a large German aircraft manufacturer.
Andreea eventually moved to Australia to pursue her passion for renewable energy recruitment, and has been recruiting permanent and contract opportunities Australia-wide for the past 3 years, covering the full life cycle of projects in Solar, Wind, and occasionally BESS. She is passionate about connecting with people and utilising talent attraction strategies and social sourcing to find the best fit for her clients and candidates.
With her love of foreign languages, Andreea hopes to continue utilising them in her work in the future. In her current role, she is dedicated to decarbonising the world, one clean energy job at a time.
Traveller
Andreea loves travelling and learning about new cultures, and if she could have any superpower, it would be teleportation (quick and free transport with no emissions, of course), so she could tick off the last continent she has not visited yet, Africa.
Polyglot
She can speak Romanian, English, German & Spanish. She also can understand French & Italian, and has recently tried her hand (& brain) at Arabic for a year.
Hiker
Andreea enjoys being in nature, especially hiking and bushwalking; her walking PBs so far are 44 km in a day and finishing the Larapinta Trail in 9 days.
