The client

Committed to driving Australia’s transition to clean, renewable energy for a sustainable future for generations to come, our client is a well-known global specialist for photovoltaic system technology. Due to their expansion, they are looking for their new Key Account Manager to analyse and evaluate the commercial for their ongoing and upcoming Large-Scale Projects.

The Role

Our client is looking for a Key Account Manager – Service Sales & Repowering to grow their APAC’s service and repowering business. The role will have the capacity to establish, develop and maintain positive market relationships with key stakeholders in the Solar PV market with a focus especially storage and Service of the the client's product and service portfolio

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and developing key accounts in Australia
  • Managing customer requirements within the organization and coordinating the activities towards the customer
  • Preparing business plans and regular reports, full Sales accountability
  • Forecasting and Pipeline Management
  • Systematic market analysis and processing
  • Identifying and developing new customers and customer groups with focus on repowering
  • Developing and maintaining of a customer database
  • Supporting marketing measures

Selection Criteria

To be successful for this position, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent in combination with excellent commercial skills
  • Strong analytical / conceptual skills
  • Proven success in winning new customers
  • Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal
  • Experience in commercial contract negotiation in a project context
  • Ability to understand technical aspects of client's products
  • Experience dealing with EPCs or similar companies
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and address customer objections.

It will be highly beneficial if you have

  • Experience in managing global key accounts
  • Experience in asset management and financial modelling
