The Company

Our client is an Australian-owned and operated service provider for the Renewable Energy. Our client is specialised in the utility-scale PV solar and battery energy storage systems, with high expertise in engineering, procurement, construction and operation of large-scale projects.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the General Manager, the Senior Project Manager will manage and deliver a range of high value turnkey construction projects. The role is to provide project management expertise through the scoping, planning, execution, and review of projects with support of the other functions within the company. The Senior Project Manager will execute against projects as an individual and/or with appropriate resources, focusing on smaller, larger and/or complex projects.

The Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and effective project coordination.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Project planning, optimization and quality management as required by project scope and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, budgets, schedules, and progress reports.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure project delivery meets quality, cost, and time requirements.

Selection Criteria

  • Electrical engineering background or relevant experience.
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and change management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Deadline-oriented and able to balance competing priorities.
